Song notes, as provided by Jonny Cragg himself:

“The song was our first recorded effort together. Created during down time at Crushing Jingles studio on W57th street in New York City in the summer of 1994. It features our original guitarist Bob Curreri before he was superceded by Richard Steel. An adolescent Sean Lennon visited us during the session and whisked us off to the Dakota Building to ‘jam’ with him and Timo Ellis, which blew our young minds. Around this time Royston was working as an assistant engineer at Baby Monster Studios where he met Bryce Goggin. The music for Nadja was being edited there and the track was brought to the attention of the director who promptly put it in the film. The version on Resident Alien was a recut recorded along with the rest of the album at the Barn at Bearsville Studios, Bearsville N.Y. the following year, produced by Bryce Goggin.
